Humbled to lead Global Operations AAF members (2017) in establishing personal and professional networks of fellow employees, leaders, mentors, and sponsors. This role also serves to attract and retain diverse talent at GE, realizing that strong workforce diversity and inclusion is a predictor to great value and business innovation. As the Professional Development Leader for the Global Operations hub, I served as a partner with HR to help bring to life programs highlighting effective characteristics which result in success for GE and the individual employee.

Since 2014, I have also served as videographer/media producer for the Hispanic forum, Digital coordinator for Veteran’s Network events, Communications leader for the Women’s Network, program partnership/panels with GLBTA , and with other volunteer capacities within APAF, and People with Disabilities. I remain an active contributor to affinity activities because employees are enriched and engaged by them.

  • Program manager to training leaders, finance teams, human resources and the IT council to implement and maintain an enterprise-wide knowledge management system

My team has been responsible for establishing benchmarks and complete governance in the KM space.

Brown-Forman Corporation | Brand Building Consultant

I was part of a team which implemented Brown-Forman’s (BF) Diversity and Inclusion program. Part of my role was conducting studies to help establish a benchmark of Diversity and Inclusion through the lens of employees. A notable success was when BF was acknowledged as being a “Noteworthy” company by Diversity, Inc. In addition, based upon my research and compelling evidence from employees, senior leaders agreed to make January 15th a BF holiday, visualize cultural diversity by displaying flags from all nations around the perimeter of the headquarter location, promote women in business in the community, and other initiatives. Such activities have been proven to create organizational commitment, increase productivity, as well as innovation at work.
